Radagast Pet Food (Rad Cat) Voluntary Recall Information
Radagast Pet Food (makers of Rad Cat) has issued a voluntary recall on four lots of their Rad Cat frozen raw diets (sold in 8 oz., 16 oz., and 24 oz. tubs and 1 oz. sample cups) due to potential contamination of Salmonella and/or Listeria monocytogenes. The affected lots are as follows:

Although this is not a particularly popular food at our store and the scope of the recall is limited, we are committed to keeping customers informed of such concerns as we become aware of them. At this time, all known purchasers of the food from our store have been notified directly. As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our customers well-informed and the animals we serve healthy, we will continue to provide such information as it becomes known to us.
If you have product that corresponds with information above, please stop feeding it to your pet immediately. If you must handle remaining food, be sure to use precautions such as adequate hand-washing, keeping containers secure and out of reach, etc. Remaining quantities of affected food should be put into a sealed bag or container and returned to West Lebanon Feed & Supply for full credit (again, please handle with caution). It is not necessary that the product was purchased in our store; as in any recall situation, our goal is to ensure the health and safety of your pets and animals.
