Ask About Our "Share the Harvest" Program
In 2009, we started our Share the Harvest program, with the purpose of collecting surplus farm-fresh eggs from our budding farmers and getting them into the hands of hungry local families who can use them. Our poultry-raising customers can bring their extra fresh eggs to our store and, with the help of the Willing Hands organization, those eggs will be delivered to folks who need them in various locations around the Upper Valley.
Farm-fresh eggs provide an excellent source of protein that come naturally-packaged in an anti-microbial container, making them an excellent nutritional supplement to the other non-perishable foods available at local food pantries. These eggs are in very high demand and we encourage anyone with surplus eggs to consider donating them to help a neighbor in need. See store for more details and to learn how you can Share the Harvest.
